New articles are written by Galen Weston under his own name and carry a New — Galen Weston status. They show the original publication date and the most recent revision date. AdvisorWorld.com Inc. operates the site, but the organization is not substituted for a human author.
Factual claims are checked against available primary or authoritative sources. Calculators and worked examples disclose their assumptions and important exclusions. Missing information stays missing rather than becoming a guessed number or invented credential.
Source rules
- What requires support: every statistic, dollar figure, percentage or rate, date, and historical claim must trace to a citation, a disclosed assumption set, or a named tool computation.
- Source priority: use primary sources first—the original study, public dataset owner, regulator, company filing, or responsible organization. Authoritative secondary reporting is used when the primary record is unavailable or when it supplies necessary context, and that limitation is stated.
- Citation format: the evidence note names the source, links to the record, and states exactly which claims it covers. Arithmetic notes show the inputs and operation; dataset notes include the version or retrieval date when it can affect the result.
- Tool attribution: a statement such as “computed by the Sequence Risk Lab under these inputs, dataset version, and exclusions” is valid attribution. A tool output is not presented as an observed fact or a forecast.
Indexable editorial pages run through an automated numerical-claims check before the production build. A number without a registered citation, assumption, tool attribution, or engine-rendered context blocks the build.
Archive work
The founding author wrote Early Retirement Dude from 2017–2020. Restored first-person articles remain attributed to the original Early Retirement Dude and carry an Archive — original author, preserved status. Galen does not claim those experiences or attach his biography to them.
An editor's note identifies restoration or presentation changes. Citations, current caveats, and corrected links are added only in that note; they are not silently inserted into or rewritten inside the original author's preserved text.
Review and revision
Before publication, Galen reviews new work for authorship, dates, source support, internal consistency, and the line between education and personal advice. No outside expert review is implied unless a named reviewer and the reviewed scope are shown on the page.
When a published page changes materially, its revision date changes too. Corrections follow the corrections policy.
Commercial and educational boundary
The site provides educational information, not personalized financial, tax, legal, investment, or insurance advice. A commercial or referral relationship does not change who authored an article, and it does not turn an example into a promise.
